DIY weddings...

Latley I've been obessed with do it yourself weddings! Even though I am in no rush to take the plunge... I just love a party and if there is crafts involved? I'm in. I've even gone as far as picked out my dress, location,theme,colors and songs. haa!

I found this amazing designer by the name of Sara Seven and I am in love with her designs! I'm really not into the big puffy dress, beads,or sequins...so I thought her designs were perfect!

I love this look..so effortless.

Oh and I found my dream photographer: Feather Love Photography

Her work is amazing. We're a perfect match! All her photo have a timeless essence to them and I'm always on her blog looking at her stuff. Check her out!

Thursday Lovelies

I did it again..failed to update my blog. It's really hard to update every social marketing site I'm on! I have to deal with fancyThat, my persoanl stuff, HMMA stuff and I've been lacking on Watermark Studio stuff.. I need a intern who would love to get paid in amazing accessories! Seriously.

So on the 18th I participated at the Grand Opening of The L.A Flea Market...and I'm not going to sit here and say it was a HIT but...it was so unorganized, awkward, hot, and weird.Haa.. I made sales but not exactly what I was excepting..know my potential in profits in a night let alone in a 10 hour day it was a little disappointing. I got a lot of compliments, press, new bridal clients, and I made some new vendor friends. So at the end of the day it wasn't half bad..but I think I'll stick to farmers markets, craft shows, and major events.

4:30 am... not fun! My half ass set up..

Speaking of events..I have a couple coming up in September, October, and November! Some pretty big events/craft shows, and if I could make it I'll be in San Fran for the Renegade Craft show. I'll announce more information as soon as those dates become closer.

As for me I've been busy at work getting more involved with HHMA. I have a couple music events I'm coordinating soon so my mind has been wrapped up in that.. on top of looking for an acting coach, working out, taking better care of myself, needing new head shots. blah..
I have a lot to do but It's all well worth it. Feeling a little foreign trying to get back to my main passion in life which is acting of course. So many casting/auditons in the next couple of months is going to be crazy. I'm so excited.

ah..well, that's it for now.. until I remember to update..

Ok.

Yes, I am aware that I have not blogged in over a week! I've just been soOOoo busy!! Good busy, not bad busy. fancyThat got crazy busy due to the Prom Promo that's going on. Yikes! I think I might of taken in a little too much...ah. Oh well. I'm working on this super cute bracelet for a lovely customer that will be used in place of a courage! Super fun!! I love orders like that.. I love when people think outside the box. Like I always say...being repetitive is soOooo boring! I would quit fancyThat if I had to make the same accessories over and over again. Luckily girls like how all my accessories are one of a kind.. cuz if they didn't I'd be in trouble.

Besides from being busy with fancyThat... I've taken on another job at Ricochet management! They manage metal bands and such.. I'm not a big metal head but my music business skills could be applied to anything. I hope it works out well.

Ah..there's so many things to say but I don't want to jinks anything!!!! Eepp!

Ok, I'll just talk about my new designs....ready...?? FRINGE!!! I loveee loveee loveee everything about FRINGE! I started working on Fringe accessories.. earrings and necklaces! I showed my bff and she was psyched!! It get's me excited when she get's excited..ahaha! Wanna see a little sneak peak...?

I also have gray, I'll be making just about every color n the rainbow...My friend Sara gave me the bright idea to tie dye black,white, and gray! ANd i was like...YES! This is so going down. I'm so excited for these to be complete. I hope you'll enjoi them!

2.Post Office.. self explanatory

3.Drive to Whittier (get lost) cause I never ever go over there..I don't like that city..I don't know why. I have to drop off a camera I'm selling.

5.Eat at some point of the day.. I always forget this one.

6.Come home and do some online marketing.

Tutu Couture.

So lately a lot of my inspirations have been coming from textures and fabrics.. even though I still love to work with feathers! I have been experimenting with other ideas and designs. I love working with tule, netting, lace, pearls, wire, and stones. I started creating accessories that could be used just about any way. Instead of just adding clip and making them one dimensional I have now added pins to use as brooches and I also offer a 30 inch chains so they could be attached as a necklace and even through in elastic so people have the option of even wearing it as a bracelet.

I love to give variety in my designs. I strongly feel that you need to keep your customers guessing and try to stray away from making the same designs over and over again. I mean, that's just soooo boring and uncreative. I see some gals designs...and I'm like seriously? haha.

Ok, well that's besides the point...So here are some of my inspirations.
