New Desk Area

New Audrey Hepburn Poster

So this is the new desk area for June. I found a Breakfast At Tiffany's poster in one of the music stores, and I had to get! I might change it in the future, but for now, I'm satisfied with it. It's really simplified, I like it a whole lot. I think it will inspire clean lines, and lots of white space in my graphics (or at least space in general). Hopefully it won't be boring and monotonous. What do you think? I was inspired somewhat by Sweet Interior book (japanese interior magazine) and apartmenttherapy.com. Plus my whole downsizing of things is getting a lot easier now.

So far, I been watching a whole bunch of old hollywood films. I find it really relaxing and enjoyable before bed. If you have instant netflix, try to catch some of these movies online. Except for the Audrey Hepburn movies & some Katharine Hepburn movies - I got them at Target and amazon.com. So far, I've watched: *

*asterisks are ones I've watched more than once

  • The Holiday (Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant)*
  • Philadelphia Story (Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant and James Stewart)*
  • Bringing Up Baby (Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant)
  • Guess Who's Coming To Dinner (not as old as the rest - 1967 - Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy)
  • Desk Set (Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy)
  • Summertime (Katharine Hepburn)
  • Roman Holiday (Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck)*
  • Funny Face (Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire)*
  • Breakfast At Tiffany's (Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard)**
  • Sabrina (Audrey Hepburn, Humprey Bogart and William Holden)
  • How To Steal A Million (Audrey Hepburn and Peter O Toole)*
  • Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (Marilyn Monroe, Jane Russell)*
  • The Seven Year Itch (Marilyn Monroe, Tommy Ewell)
  • How To Marry A Millionaire (Betty Grable, Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall)
  • Love Me Or Leave Me (Doris Day, James Cagney)
  • A Breath of Scandal (Sophia Loren, Maurice Chevalier)
  • Gilda (Rita Hayworth, Glenn Ford)
  • My Man Godfrey (William Powell, Carole Lombard)
  • Cactus Flower (Walter Matthau, Ingrid Bergman)
  • The Girl Can't Help It (Jayne Mansfield, Tom Ewell)

  • Anybody watch old hollywood films like me? Just out of curiosity. If so, what is your favorite movie?
